Dolores Gallegos

Dolores “Dodo” Gallegos, 74, of Ranchitos passed away on January 8, 2020. She was born in 1945 to Samuel and Adelicia Gallegos.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  She served for 25 years as the 8th Judicial District Court Administrator for the counties of Taos, Colfax and Union.  She retired at age 43 in 1988.     She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Adelecia Gallegos, Uncle, Luis Gallegos, brothers, Robert Lopez and Gustavo Gallegos, niece, Sandra Gallegos and sister in-law, Carmen Gallegos.  She is survived by her daughters, Annamarie Gonzales and Jeannie White (Paul), grandchildren, Erika Gonzales, Nicole White and James Madrid, great-grandchildren, Mateo Gonzales, Sophia Redmond and Kayden Redmond, brothers and sisters, Samuel Gallegos (Ana), Alberto Gallegos (Dela), Juliana Medina (Joe), David Gallegos and Novella Padilla (Servio). 

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos.  Interment will be held in the Spring at the Dolores Cemetery.  Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos.  To share a memory, please visit our website at www.riverafuneralhome.com
