Dolores Glanz, 83, a life long resident of Taos passed away on March 20, 2011. She along with her husband, Carl Drotin Glanz owned and operated the Broken Wheel and La Veranda Galleries in Taos. She was an artist who painted Taos Pueblo scenes, the Chimayo Church, kachinas and petroglyphs. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Drotin Glanz, parents, Ben and Lola Hopkins, brothers, John W. and James A. Hopkins and grandson, Lucero Hopkins. She is survived by her son, James Hopkins of Taos.
She will be laid to rest at the family plot at Sierra Vista Cemetery.
