It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores D. Jeantette, who left this world on August 23, 2024, at the age of 82.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Rey and Ernestine Cardenas, her husband Gustavo Garcia, her children Mario, Joseph (Jody), and Andy Jeantette, her first husband Joe Jeantette, her brother Ben Cardenas, and her sister Anna Mondragon. 

 

A loving and devoted mother, Dolores is survived by her daughter Lisa Jeantette-Mondragon (Mark), her grandchildren Joshlyn, Mario, Andrew, Joshua, Estrella, Marcos, Salvatores, Mark, Feliz, Leslie, and Stephanie, her great grandchildren Kianna, Eviee, Ari Rey, Mario, Enzo and Theodore, her stepchildren Elaine Diaz (Carlos), Joyce Cruz (George), and Janette Ortiz, her siblings Andy Cardenas (Bernice), Rosie Sisneros (Jimmy), Patsy Dimas (Sam), Richard Cardenas (Naomi), John Cardenas (Darlene), and Manuel Cardenas (Mary), who will forever cherish her memory and the many lessons she imparted. 

 

Dolores lived a full and rich life, filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family. The tremendous light of her faith was like a beacon that guided her throughout her journey. She credited her faith for the strength she had in challenging times. She will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the strength in which she faced life's adversities.

 

A funeral mass will be held September 28, 2024, at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. A celebration of life will be held at the St. Joseph’s dining hall proceeding the funeral mass. 

 

Dolores will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of devotion and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her and be loved by her.
