Dolores Roybal

Dolores N. Roybal, 77, of Chamisal passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2022.  Dolores enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was known in the community as a long time employee at McDonald’s in Taos.  She loved crocheting and enjoyed going to the casino.  She is preceded in death by her parents who raised her, Juan and Rufina Trujillo, her son, Ernest Roybal, daughter in law, Connie Roybal, her parents, Augustina and Henry Salazar, brothers, Henry Jr., Ruben and Richard Salazar, sisters, Sally Salazar and Alicia Chavez and mother in law, Carlotta Roybal.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ernesto Roybal, daughters, Norma (Gabriel) Gonzales, Deborah Martinez, Renetta Roybal (Julio), sons, Robert (Jessica) Roybal and Gerald (Vicky) Padilla, sisters, Gloria and Rosie Salazar, Cecilia Trujillo, Benita Espinoza, brothers, Leopoldo (Julia) Trujillo and Jimmy Salazar, in laws Phillip (Roseann) Roybal, Cindy Roybal, Beatrice Esquibel, 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. 

Rosary will be recited on Saturday February 19, 2022 at Rivera Chapel in Taos at 5:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on March 3, 2022 at San Antonio de Padua church in Penasco, NM at 11:00AM with burial to follow at the Upper Chamisal Cemetery.
