Tillie was a devout Catholic and spent her days and nights in prayer. Her undying love for faith, family, and friends is what Tillie is known for. In all our hearts Tillie’s memory will always be that of a faithful, strong, happy, and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. All who met Tillie will remember her for the beautiful caring person she was. A short poem comes to mind, from Father Unknown, “Remember me for what I stand for, not for what this world stands for, remember me for my faith, not the lack of that plaques this world, remember me for the smiles, not the tears I have shed; remember, that in the end I stand in the kingdom untouched by the sorrows seen in bitter days long since past, remember, I am better now where I am, for we shall meet again and I will remember you.” Tillie will be missed but her memory shall never fade.
