Dora Mae Aguino, 59, a resident of San Juan Pueblo was called home on March 23, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Alejandrina Abeyta, brothers, Elmer and David (AKA) Beetle Abeyta; and sister, Irene Abeyta; father-in-Law, Juan B. Aguino.
She is survived by her siblings; Judy Trujillo, Eloy, Michael, Gloria, Roy (Cecillia) and Bernice Abeyta, children; Brian (Pretty), Aisha (Joe), and Dorena Baldonado; granchildren: Carter Aguino and Emilio Trujillo. Mother-in-law, Josephine Aguino, and father of her children, Chris Aguino (Jean), many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Dora attended Albuquerque Indian School and worked a few years for the Zia Company in Los Alamos before becoming disabled.
Special thanks to the attending staff of Ambercare Hospice, especially Erica/Nurse who provided professional care to Dora.
Public viewing will take place Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Blessing will take place on Friday, March 26th at 9 a.m. where she will then be taken to her final resting place at the cemetery in Ohkay Owingeh.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Brian Aguino, Jeffrey Aguino Jr., Roy Abeyta, Byron Abeyta, Jose Trujillo Sr., Jose Trujillo Jr., Manuel Ayala, and Gino Martinez.
