Dora Cobb

Dora L. Cobb, age 87 passed away at home in El Guique, NM. Dora was born November 20, 1929 in San Rafael, NM to Juan and Josephita Gallegos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Josephita Gallegos; 3 brothers, Ross, Gilbert and Orlando Gallegos; 3 sisters, Alice Gallegos, Anne Blankenship and Emma Gallegos. Dora is survived by 2 sons, Gregg Cobb (Rosa) and Gary Cobb (Laurie) of El Guigue; a brother, Ralph Gallegos of El Guigue; a sister, Helen Fletcher of Albuquerque; 5 grandchildren, Gerard Cobb (Angela), Michael, Angelina, Arnal and Dennis Cobb; 3 great grandchildren, Faith, Lillie and Evelyn. Dora was a loving mother. Some of the places that worked were at, The Candle Factory in California, Visiting Companion aide and Grandma at San Juan Elementary School. She loved her pet canine Pugs and Jumper. She loved and admired the African Violet her favorite flower and loved gardening. She missed her beloved friend Josie who passed away a few years ago. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the San Juan Bapista Catholic Church, San Juan, NM on Tuesday, August 1st at 10:00 am with burial to follow at the El Guique Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Michael and Gerard Cobb. Honorary Pallbearers will be Anirel and Angelina Cobb.
