Dora Coriz Conn

Dora Coriz Conn 81, passed away on April 10, 2018 in Santa Fe, NM, she was born on May 29, 1936 to Antonia Mares and Tranquilino Coriz in Santa Fe, NM. She married Robert A. Conn on May 21, 1966 in Yuma, Arizona. Dora is preceded in death by her mother: Antonia Mares Coriz, father: Tranquilino Coriz, sisters: Lena Carrillo and Sally Garcia, brothers: Raymond Coriz and Jose Louis Coriz and daughter: Yvonne Eileen Weakley. She is survived by her husband Robert A. Conn of Santa Fe, NM, daughter: Elizabeth Ann Jaramillo (Coriz) of Santa Fe, NM, son: Michael Anthony Gurule (Tina) of San Antonio, Tx, son: John Mark Gurule of San Diego, CA, daughter: Jennifer Antionette Catechis (Chris) of Albuquerque, NM, grandchildren: Mia Gurule, Michael Gurule, Velinda Gurule, Christina Lara (Gurule), Jason Jaramillo, Rochelle Gurule, Robert Gurule, Marcos Gurule, Marvin Gurule, Alexandria Weakley, Marlisa Gurule and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church located on Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe, NM. Dora made numerous contributions to her community through her volunteer work, church and other organizations. One small historical note about her was that she was the first female to play Organized Little League Baseball in Santa Fe. Dora was most beloved by her husband of 51 years, Robert Conn.
