DORCIA E. (DOT) HARDY, 83, of Santa Fe, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 following an extended illness. She was born July 3, 1927 in Aspen, Colorado, the daughter of Jack and Ruby Manson. After moving to Santa Fe, she worked as a cook at the Santa Fe County Detention Center and also at the Christian Life Day Care Center. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Dorcia is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren Ray Hardy; and two sons, Price Eugene Hardy and Jack Ray Hardy. She is survived by three sons, William Hardy, Earl Hardy (Jeanny), and William McCalmont (Jean); one daughter, Cheryl Hardy; her sister, Margaret Rogers; and two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Mike Pearson, Daniel Rios, Arcy Duran, Mark Duran, Chris Duran, and Remy Padilla.
Graveside Services were conducted on November 15, 2010 at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
