Doreen Barela

Doreen Michelle King Barela, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. Passed away on June 19, 2023 in La Cienga at age 56. 

Proceeded in death by grandparents Antonio and Eufemia Martinez, John and Teresina King, and father Jimmy King. 

Survived by mother Lorraine King, husband Steven Ramirez. Sons Anthony, Chris, Joseph, and Justin. Daughters Krissy, Gabby, Amanda and Ashley. Eleven grandchildren. Kiergan, Faith, Cristian, Christopher, Valentina, Benjamin, Elena, Emma'Rose, Waylon and Weston, and a baby boy Luka on the way. 

Brothers, Jimmy and John. Sister Wanda, aunts, uncles, and numerous extended family and friends. 

Doreen was known for being the core of the family, and had the biggest heart. She always had a smile on her face, loved holidays spent with loved ones, and made everyone feel special. She is greatly missed and loved by all who knew her. 

Service arrangements : Public Viewing will be Monday June 26th, 2023 5pm -7pm at Rivera Funeral Home. Rosary at 10am and Mass at 11am on Tuesday June 27th, 2023 at Guadalupe Church,  Burial to follow at Rosario at 12:30pm.
