Doris A. Montoya, 78 of Des Montes, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017, lovingly surrounded by her family. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Ismael Garcia and Annie Oakeley Garcia; Parents-in-law, Estrellita and Mardoqueo Lucero; son, Joe H. Montoya; daughter, Patricia Santistevan, son-in-law, Eddie R. Lucero; brother, Ellis Garcia and sister, Susie Garcia; sisters-in-law, Trina Garcia, Estella Padilla, Esmeralda Romero, Elsie Medina; brothers-in-law, Moises Garcia, Bernie Martinez, Melisandro Padilla, Tito Medina, Sr. Doris is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ernesto B. Montoya, children, Tina Montoya, Teresa Archuleta, Beatrice Lucero, David Montoya (Diane), Marcella Nellist (Dave), Vicky Montoya (Tano) and daughter in law, Sandy Martinez (Michael), 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Maria Romero (Felix), Bernice Romero (Nick). Sisters-in-law, Faby Montoya, Nancy Madrid (Max); brothers-in-law, Nelson Romero, Vidal Montoya, Margarito Lucero (Cecilia), Medardo Lucero, Abran Lucero. Funeral Services were held on March 16, 2017 at Good News Christian Fellowship Church.
