Doris Romero Herrera

Doris Romero Herrera, 49, of Talpa passed away on October 20, 2011. She was a veteran of the US Navy serving in Pearl Harbor, HI. She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Uphoff and mother, Pacifica Romero. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Herrera, children, David Uphoff (Monique, Sierra, Manuel, Matthew and Kiara Herrera, grandson, Dillan Uphoff, father, Tilio Romero, sisters and brothers, Diana R. Taylor (Jim), Jimmy Romero, Ruby Mondragon (Uvaldo) and Bobby Romero (Kathy) and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on October 24, 2011. Funeral mass was held October 25, 2011. Both were held at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment following at the Talpa Cemetery. As of November 29, 2011 the family is still seeking donations to help cover the funeral expenses. Donations will be accepted at Rivera Funeral Home.
