Doroteo P. Cruz

Mr. Doroteo P. Cruz, of Santa Fe passed away on September 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Doroteo and Matilda Cruz, granddaughter Jenae Gallegos, and sister-in-law Vanessa Cruz. Doroteo was born on April 14, 1941 and grew up in Chimayo, NM. He worked for the State of NM as a Procurement Specialist for 30 years. He enjoyed watching football, refinishing furniture and valued spending time with his family. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Gallegos, son-in-law Tim Gallegos, grandchildren Jordan and Joel Gallegos, brothers Celedon, Niam, Jacob, Nelson and Toby Cruz, sister Concha Flores and many other extended family and friends. A visitation was held on September 25, 2012. A funeral service was held on September 26, 2012. Both services were held at Christian Life Fellowship in Santa Fe. Interment followed at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers: Nathan Cruz, Reyes Cruz, Mark Cruz, Beno Flores, Cel Cruz Jr., Jacob Flores and Levi Caples. Honorary Pallbearers: Jordan and Joel Gallegos.
