Dorothy Canche'

Dorothy Canche’, 78, of Taos passed away on November 15, 2016. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and other family members. She was a teacher in El Centro, CA for 33 years and enjoyed her job working with young children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Canche’, parents, Jose Ignacio Gonzales and Eloisa Valerio Gonzales and brother, Joe Gonzales. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Eren Canche’ (Laura), daughters, Diana Deiss, Silvia Ludwig, Irene Hector, grandchildren, Daniella Elisa Canche’, Gise’le Anissa Canche, Joey, Joshua and Megan Deiss, Natalia Hector, J.P. Ludwig, Jenna Davies, brothers, Frank Gonzales (Oclides), Ben Gonzales, Pablo Gonzales (Isabel), sister, Christine Vigil (Bob), many nieces, nephews whom were special to her, and many other relatives and friends. Rosary/Evening Service was held on November 21, 2016 at Rivera Chapel. Interment was held on November 22, 2016 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
