Earl Thomas Romo, of Las Vegas, New Mexico, age 37, his life was tragically cut short on December 19, 2023. Earl was born October 26, 1986 in Taos, New Mexico. He was a skilled Master Barber and Landscaper. In 2019, He obtained his Barbers degree at Luna Community College and his Associates degree in Business Administration at Mesalands Community College. In 2020, he opened his own Barber Shop, Faded Up, which had been his dream for many years. He utilized his Nephew and many friends to practice and perfect his skill. In 2021, he successfully started his second business, Southwest Landscaping Services because he decided that he could make a living out of his love for the outdoors. After the pandemic, he found a home at Great Clips in Albuquerque, cut hair by appointment at his Aunt Joanna’s Salon and most recently enjoyed being an Uber driver. Earl loved to be outside fishing, camping and hunting (squirrels). He was an avid 49ers fanatic and only his sister would know he was a closet Raiders fan too. One of his most favorite things to do was to ride his motorcycle. He felt he was “a real biker” because he would ride in almost any weather and all year around. He found his sense of belonging when he rode with his local motorcycle club. He found his peace the day he met his little human, as he called her. Zaylynn was his greatest achievement and loved being a dad. He was a deep thinker and planned out nearly everything he did. Not all went according to plan each time, but an amazing quality of his was that he could flip the script and take on challenges head on until he figured it out. Earl didn’t like to admit that he wore his heart outside of his chest and those who truly knew him know how intensely he felt emotions. In the short time Earl was given his freedom, he took no minute for granted and lived his life everyday like it was his last.
Earls Mantra: “I’m coming for everything they said I couldn’t have!” and that he did.
