Edna Aragon

On Saturday September 16, 2023 Edna Jean Juarros Aragon, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 69, just four days before her 70th birthday. Edna was born on September 20, 1953 in Wagon Mound, NM to Ricardo and Mary “Mudsy” Juarros. She is the youngest of 7 children.

She married her loving husband Juan Aragon of 49 years on May 18, 1974 in Los Lunas. Together they had three children Bryan, Christa and Erica.

Edna Worked as a nurse for 18 years and then hospital administration before she went back to school. She graduated in December 2005 from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Human and Health Sciences. Following her graduation, she worked for the State of New Mexico until she retired in 2012.

She loved online shopping, spending time with family and supporting her children and grandchildren. She was especially fond of her 2 little fur babies and Mia and Griffen.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, Ricardo and Mudsy. She is survived by her husband Juan, her children Bryan and Kimberly, Christa and Chelly, and Erica. Her grandchildren Allyson, Zachary, Kayla and Iyanna. She is a sister to Janet, Irene, Richard, Evelyn, Louis and Dennis. She is also survived by Delores, Lucia, Priscilla, Ana, Mona, Jannette and Maria.

Cremation has taken place, rosary and service is being held at Rivera Funeral Home in Espanola NM, on October 7, 2023 at 1pm.
