Edward Grant

Edward G. Grant Jr., 85, passed away at his home in Ranchos de Taos on August 31, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Grant and Elva Morgas Grant Casados, step-dad, Miguel Casados, his wife of 62 years, Bessie Cisneros Grant, siblings, Margie Hammer (Sam), Angelina Martinez (Manuel) and his two half-sisters, Erlinda Pacheco and Efie Sebastian.  He is survived by his son, Clyde Grant, daughter, Naomi Grant and Bernabe Visarriagas who was like a son, grandchildren, Isabel Villanueva (Tino), Bennie Grant (Christina), Theresa Grant, Eddie Grant, Charlene Grant and great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Mabel Torres, brother, Clarence Grant, brother in-law, Senator Carlos Cisneros (Patsy), Albert Ortiz, sisters in-law, Ollie Rael, Sofie Cisneros, Luz Cisneros and Rosie Cisneros, close friend, Manuel Garcia, along with many close nephews, nieces and numerous friends.

Evening service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 10 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Taos with interment following at the Descanso Cemetery.  Meal will be held at the Taos Agriculture Center.  Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.  To share a memory, please visit our website at www.riverafuneralhome.com
