Edward Montoya, a resident of Santa Fe, NM, was called to his heavenly home on May 18, 2024. He was born on September 21, 1951, to Rev. Paul and Alice Montoya in Pueblo, CO. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Montoya; son, Rodney Montoya (Rose); son, Daniel Montoya (Lizette); stepdaughter, Andrea Maestas; stepson Anthony Maestas; granddaughter, Delanie Lopez (Christian); granddaughter, Brianna Montoya; and grandson, Gabriel Montoya. Ed is also survived by his brother, Rick Montoya (Cherie); sister, Rosalie Mitchell; sister, Lillian Harris; stepfather, Guillermo Rael; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he held close to his heart.
A celebration of life will be held June 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Freedom Church on 3732 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe. He will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony.
