Edwardo A. Lovato

Edwardo A. Lovato Sr. 83 Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 12, 2010. He is preceded in death by his son, Benny Sr.,granddaughter Sara, great grandson, Isaac, parents Solomon Sr. and Elvira Lovato, mother in law, Adelina, brothers, Juan, Solomon Jr. and David Lovato, and brother in laws, Rick, Mike and Eddie. Edwardo was born on February 22, 1927. He married his loving wife of 60 years Isabel Aguilar Lovato on April 10, 1950, which together they raised 13 children. Edwardo was a disable veteran. Edwardo served in both the Army and Navy. He worked as an all around handyman. He enjoyed spending time with all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He leaves us with the most beautiful memories that we will hold close to our hearts forever. He is survived by his loving wife Isabel, sons, Eddie Jr. (Yolanda), Ronnie, Richard (Tanya), daughters, Rose, Kathy, Nena, Angela, Cindy Velarde (Pete Sr.), Marlene (Trino), Diane, Michelle (Albert), Linda Medina (Edward). He is survived by sisters, Stella, Gladys (Alberto), Rose, Joyce, and Elsie, and brothers, Samuel and Alfred (Diane). Pallbearers included: Eddie, Michael, Joseph, Gerald, and Ricky Lovato, Hector Ortiz, Pete Velarde Jr., and Eddward Medina Jr. Honorary Pallbearers included: Benny Jr., Patrick and Tanya Lovato, Leroy Velarde, Pete Velarde Sr. and Edward Medina Sr. An evening prayer service was held on November 16, 2010. A Funeral Service was celebrated on November 17, 2010. Both services were held at Temple Baptist Church. A burial followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
