Edwina Dina Barela Cortez, 50, of Talpa passed away unexpectedly on June 04, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father, Eddie Barela, brother, Dwain Barela and sister, Peggy Barela. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Martinez, sons, Ray Cortez Jr. (Delilah) and Enriquez Cortez, granddaughter, Lillyray Cortez, grandmother, Felecitas Griego, sisters, Maryann, Donna (Richard), Stephanie, Veronica (Anthony) and Angie (Jeff), brother, Edward Martinez (Lupe), special auntie, Pam Maestas and best friend, Toby, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends whom loved her dearly Funeral service was held on June 09, 2014 at the Talpa Catholic Church with interment following at the San Francisco Cemetery.
