Everaldo R. Casias

Everaldo Rogelio Casias, 78 of Tierra Amarilla, NM was taken by our Lord on Tuesday May 2, 2017. A Vietnam Veteran, he served our country as a member of the US Air Force. He was born to Cristobal and Asencion Casias on June 3, 1938, and was the loving older brother to Beatrice Martinez, Marcella Ulibarri, and his last surviving sister Percilla Samora. "Ever" as he was called, was preceded in death by his son Chris Casias and is survived by his daughters, Madeline and Nena, grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was dearly loved by friends and family and will be sorely missed. He showed strength and fortitude during his battle with cancer, a testament to the human spirit. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 10 AM at San Jose Catholic Church in Los Ojos, NM. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM followed by burial in Los Ojos.
