Elias R. Chavez

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Anita Chavez, sister, Isidora Romero, brothers, Alfredo, Juan Andres, Antonio, Enrique and Luis Chavez. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dolores Chavez, children, Patricia Anne Chavez and Elizabeth Herrera (Walter), Roberto Chavez, grandchildren, Louis Moya (Lesley), Ryan Chavez, Regina Chavez, great grandson, Joshua Chavez, brothers, Jose Pablo Chavez (Adelaide), Jose Ernesto Chavez, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on October 19, 2014. Funeral mass was held on October 20, 2014. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make contributions to the Nursing Program at the University of New Mexico Klauer Campus in Taos.
