Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Rael, A resident of Santa Fe, was called home by her Lord unexpectedly and surrounded by her loving family the late evening of November 11, 2019.
She is preceded in Death By
Father-Chris Escudero, Mother—Flora Escudero, Sisters—Anita Cecilia Escudero and Sandy Escudero, Great-Grand Daughter—Emily Jade Rael and Nephew—Greg C. Chavez.
Elizabeth is survived by her - Loving and devoted Companion of 30 years—John Baros, Her Children who she loved so dearly: Son: Michael Rael (Lisa), Daughter: Brenda Halder and husband Scott
She is blessed by 4 Grandchildren: John Michael Rael (Angelica), Darien Halder (Adam), Jasmine Rael and David Halder
Great Grandchild: Ryan Mathew Rael
Elizabeth is also survived by her siblings: Dolores Grobe and Christine (Tina) Dominguez
Nieces: Monica (Leroy) Padilla, Denise (Art) Leyba, Valerie Baros (Pat) and many great nieces and friends.
Elizabeth (Liz) was in employed at El Castillo Life Plan Community Center as a Registered Nurse (RN) where she cared dearly for her residents for many years.
She was the most humble, kind, generous and loving person who would help anyone in need. She treasured her family deeply and enjoyed many celebrations with them.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light with Interment to follow at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
