Elizabeth Cooley

Elizabeth M. Cooley (Betty), 89, of Casa Rael, passed away on January 2, 2012 due to several years of diabetes. She was born in Little Falls, New York State to Stanley J. Walsh and Margaret E. Walsh, and married Clark W. Cooley in 1943. She is preceded in death by her sons, Bruce R. Cooley and Craig E. Cooley. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clark Cooley, and daughters, Elizabeth Cooley and Sheila Barnett (Dan). Elizabeth got her BA at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and her Masters Degree in Sociology. She was a member of the American Association of University Women, League of Women Voters, and ABC Garden Club. At her request, cremation will take place with no services. Her urn will be placed in the Trail of Memories at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with her son Craig.
