Elizabeth Lisa C de Baca 57, of Santa Fe, NM, died unexpectedly of natural causes on March 7, 2018. She was born to loving parents Santiago C de Baca and Pina Murphy C de Baca, on September 02, 1960. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, brother Peter C de Baca, sister Priscilla C de Baca, niece Crystal Trujillo, and great-nephew Elijah Archuleta. She is survived by her sister Eileen C de Baca, brothers Paul C de Baca, Louie C de Baca (Dora), and Leo C de Baca, nieces Brenda Trujillo, Michelle Melendez (Paul), Nicole C de Baca, Christina Gonzales, Krystle Lucero, nephews Phillip Gonzales (Trish), Andy Romero (Eva), Anthony Archuleta (Marilyn), Nathan C de Baca (Carmel), many great-nieces and nephews, extended family who loved her dearly, and very close friends including Chris Stanley and George Lewis.
Lisa was born and raised in Santa Fe, where she attended Santa Fe High School. She lived an authentic life and brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Lisa had a heart for people, and was especially passionate in her work with those who had disabilities and special needs. She particularly enjoyed volunteering for the Special Olympics and the American Red Cross. Lisa was generous and gracious to all- both people and animals. She loved her dogs Penny and Gigi. Lisa loved the Lord and always desired to grow spiritually through Bible study and prayer. She had a positive impact on so many people’s lives. Lisa will forever be missed!
