Elizardo Eli Gonzales, 29, of El Prado passed away unexpectedly July 18, 2009. He graduated from Taos High School in 1998 in the top ten of his class, he played college baseball at McMurry University in Abilene, TX and graduated with a Bachelors of Exercise Physiology from the University of New Mexico. He was a Groundman at Kit Carson Electric and a Taos High School Baseball Coach and a P.E. teacher at St. Francis School. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ted Gonzales, father, Gregorio Trujillo, mother in law, Anna Marie Martinez-Gonzales, great grandparents, Frank & Mabel Duran, Elizardo & Juanita Gonzales. He is survived by his fiancée, Amanda Gonzales, son, Jeremiah Gonzales, parents, Deborah & Tomas Anglada, sisters, Maria (Lorenzo), Olivia and Mia Anglada, niece, Mikayla Lucero, grandparents, Addie Gonzales, Amarante & Augustina Trujillo, George & Celia Anglada, father in law, Faustin Tiner Gonzales, Jr., brother in law, Faustin Juno Gonzales III and many other relatives and friends.
Rosary was recited on July 22, 2009. Funeral mass was held on July 23, 2009. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment was held at the Jesus de Nazareno Cemetery.
