Eloy Frank Mondragon, 72, of Taos passed away on February 13, 2010. He worked for the Town of Taos as a cross guard until 2006. He retired from Ralston-Purina in 1990. He was a veteran of the US Army & Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eloy & Rose Mondragon, brother, Clarence Mondragon and sister, Ada Rael. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Mondragon, children, Kathy Coca (Jose) of Llano Quemado, Stephan Mondragon (Joyce) of Albuquerque, David Mondragon of Llano Quemado and Roberta Mondragon of Buena Vista, CO, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived sisters and brothers, Elmira Martinez (Luz) of Taos, Marbella Trujillo of Colorado Springs, Doris Cordova (Jesus) of Denver, Co, Corelia Ulibarri (Lawrence) of Colorado Springs, CO, Toni Remington of Colorado Springs, CO, Toby Mondragon of Taos, Richard Mondragon (Erminia) of Taos and Wilma Kimlicka of Taos and many other relatives.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 7 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with interment to follow at 2:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
