Eloy Larrañaga, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on December 31, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife Eleonor, parents Melquiades and Matianita, brothers Ambrosio, Nicanor and sister Susie. He is survived by his son Christopher (Kim), daughter Selina (Carlos), grandchildren Crystal, (Jayde), whom he raised as a daughter, Rebecca (Josiah), Raymond, and great-granddaughter Victoria, brothers E. A. (Rosina), Louis (Linda), sister Dora, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and his faithful dog Dylan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He passed his time working on small engines and tinkering with just about anything that needed fixing. He served his country during the Korean War. He was a devote Catholic and very strong in his faith. He will be missed dearly. Pallbearers: Julian Lujan, Dennis Larrañaga, Jose Larrañaga, Leo Leyba, Nick Larrañaga, Raymond Gonzales, Jayde Ybarra and Robert Larrañaga. Honorary Pallbearers: Frances Ortega, John Gonzales and Joy Sedillo. Rosary will recited on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with the burial to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
