Elsie Chism

Elsie Chism age 98 of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away October 29, 2016. She was born March 30, 1918 in Truscott, Texas. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband Clint Chism and her sister Laura Lee Sloan. She is survived by her son Clint Chism (Jan McCarthy), daughter Mary Nation and son Bobby Chism (Marina). Elsie retired from Kaune Grocery Company and was a member of Nell’s girls club. Pallbearers are Jason Chism, John Polkovitz, Leo Vigil, Ed Vigil, Christopher Vigil, and Elias Griego. Honorary Pallbearers are her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. both at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the Santa Fe National cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Thank you to Del Corazon Hospice, Santa Fe Care Center and her many special friends.
