Elvira "Viga" Salazar

Elvira “Viga” G. Salazar, age 97, passed away on Monday, September 4th in Espanola, NM Elvira is preceded in death by her Husband; Alfredo Salazar, Parents; Augustine Garcia and Dorotea Vigil, and all her siblings. Elvira is survived by her son Donald Salazar. Three Grandchildren; Rebecca, LeAndra, and Joaquin. Four Great-Grandchildren; Jacqueline, Melinda, Justin, Monique, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Melianna. Donald would like to thank several very special friends; Mary Martinez, Lorena Salazar, and Chris Keene. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 6:00 PM, at San Juan Bautista Church, Ohkay Owingeh, New Mexico. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017, 10:00 AM, San Juan Bautista Church, Ohkay Owingeh, New Mexico with Interment to follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Chamita, New Mexico. Serving the family as pallbearers will be; Howard Lopez, Floyd Garcia, Jonathan Naranjo, Kenny Quintana, Jose Richard Garcia, and Irvin Trujillo.
