Emilia Quintana

Emilia Quintana, 86 of Rio Lucio, NM. died peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2009. Emilia is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Quintana, son David Quintana, infant daughter Marie Quintana and grandsons Lee Quintana, Jr., and Aaron Benavidez brothers, Alfonso Rodriguez, Filelino Rodriguez and Onfre Rodriguez and sister Clorinda Romero. She is survived by one sister Eduivjan Pacheco of Rio Lucio; sons George Quintana of Rio Rancho and Lee Quintana and wife Jackie of Hernandez; daughters JoAnn Rael and husband Lupe of Albuquerque, Marie Martinez and husband Joseph of Alcalde, Gloria Woodson and husband Bruce of Santa Fe; Grace Quintana and Mary Anne Finney of Santa Fe, Grandchildren raised as children Aileen Quintana of Chimayo and Gabriel Quintana and wife Amanda of Tacoma, Washington. Emilia was a loving Grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and twenty‐two great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday September 1st at 6:00pm at Victory Faith Church located at 823 Angel Duran Dr. in Espanola, with an evening devotional service beginning at 7:00 pm. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the same church, with interment following at El Llano de San Juan Cemetery in Penasco. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Philip Benavidez, David Gallegos, Gabriel Quintana, George Quintana, Jr., Philip Benavidez, Jr., Adrian Martinez, Isaiah Espinoza, Joey Martinez and Jerahmiah Espinoza.
