Emilia Saiz

Emilia R. Saiz Emilia was born September 18, 1922 and passed away on October 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Isidro F. Saiz. Parents Albino and Ramona Rael, infant sister Sara and grandchildren Billy Chavez Jr. and Miranda Saiz. Surviving her are her children Corine Duran (Joe), Lorene Chavez, Manuel "Buddy" Saiz (Kelley) and Doreen Adler (Fred). 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as her brothers and sisters in-law, cousins nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved pets. Emilia was retired from the NM Dept. of Education. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Kiva of Light Chapel 417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM. A Funeral Mass Monday,October 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Santuario at 12:00 with a burial follow at 1:30p the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
