Emma M. Casados

Emma Casados, 69, of Mora passed away on July 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. Emma was born in Mora on January 26, 1946. She retired from Mora Valley Community Health Services, after 34 years of service, and Mora Valley Ambulance after 27 years of service. She loved serving her community and helping others. Her family was the light of her life, and she enjoyed caring for them. She loved her little ranch and all her little animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, Waldo and Refugio Trujillo, and brothers, Waldo, Luciano, Roberto, Patricio, Jacob Trujillo. She is survived by her life partner, Fred Bustos, daughters, Brenda Casados (Manuel), Frieda Bustos, and son, Rick Bustos. Her grandchildren, Catrina Romero (Ryan), Lianna Casados (JJ), Derrick Bustos, and great grandchildren, Madison and Stefan Romero, and Evette and Jacob Vigil. Brothers Jimmy Trujillo (Elaine), Richard Trujillo, and Leroy Trujillo, sister-in law, Dolores Trujillo, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rosary was recited on July 17, 2015 at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church in Mora. Funeral mass was held on July 18, 2015 at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church in Mora.
