Emma Trujillo

EMMA J. TRUJILLO, 95, a resident of Chimayo, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Mrs. Trujillo was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago P. Trujillo of 56 years; parents, Pablita and Ramon Jaramillo; sons, Jimmy (Perry), Abenansio, and Luis (Jerry) Trujillo; grandson, Darrell R. Trujillo; brothers, Tony, Efren, and Floyd Jaramillo; sisters, Lorencita Baca, Ermelinda Chavez and Sorida Vigil. Mrs. Trujillo is survived by her daughter and caregiver Debra E. Vigil (Apolinar Gonzales); daughter, Susie Trujillo; sons, Nelson (JoAnne), Lee (Orlina), and Steve Trujillo; brother, Samuel Jaramillo; sister, Cleotilda Avila; 10 grandchildren she raised; Adrina, Sarah, and Roger Vigil, Jr., Michelle and Tracy Fresquez, Deserae, Kassandra, Jackie, Marty and Jesus Trujillo; 16 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Rivera Family Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be; Adrina Vigil, Michelle Fresquez, JR Miranda, Johnny Avila, Mike and Wayne Jaramillo. The family of Emma J. Trujillo have entrusted her funeral arrangements to Rivera Family Funeral Home.
