Enrique Alejandro Trujillo Born on May 24, 1933 in Springer, NM to J. Frank Trujillo and Gloria Arellano our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Enrique Alejandro Trujillo went home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 after a 38 year long courageous battle with multiple illnesses. It was his devout faith in the will of God that enabled him to overcome all of them. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Enrique and Isabelita Trujillo, mother and father, Gloria and J. Frank sister, Irene Hansen and her husband Bob, brother, Edmundo Trujillo. Father and mother in law, Francisco Garcia and Teresa Rodriguez. Brother in laws, Henry, Alfred, Lambert, Tony and Facundo Garcia and Tony Romero. Sister in law, Aurelia Romero. Nephews, Michael Romero, Eugene De Jesus, Chris Chavez and Alfred Garcia. Niece, Bernadette Romero and his very special cousin George Cantrell. He is survived by his loving, caring wife of 62 years Carmen Trujillo who was by his side and fought the battles with him. His only daughter Catherine who assisted her mother with hiscare. Sons Phillip (Anita), Lawrence and Michael (Jane), grandchildren Angelo (Jennica), Felicia (Shady), Keith (Leighann), Melanie and Michael. Great grandchildren Jalyssa, James, Trinity, Serenity, Jacob, Dazlyn and Destiny. Sister in law Esther Trujillo, God daughter, Elizabeth Romero and so very many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Very special thanks to his nieces Teresa and Patricia Garcia for the gentle care they gave him during his final days. Serving as Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and his nephews Henry Romero and Facundo Garcia Jr. A viewing will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 5:30pm at the Kiva Chapel of Light (Rivera Family Funeral Home). The rosary will be held at St. Anne’s Parish the same day at 7:30pm. The mass will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Anne’s Parish at 10:00am. Burial will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 9:45am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
