Epimenio (Eppie) Martinez Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022. He was a resident of La Mesilla, New Mexico. Eppie was born on January 24, 1981 to Epimenio and Annjanette Martinez. He was employed with the State of New Mexico. He was a proud son, nephew, cousin, godfather, and friend to so many.
Eppie brought joy and laughter into all of our lives. Eppie enjoyed sharing his life and his views. Asking questions that made you think and spark debates or conversations that would go on for hours. “Let’s agree to disagree,” was one of his great sayings. He was wise beyond his years many said he had an old soul. I think everyone he knew would have a great story to tell about him. We could write a novel to describe what a wonderful person he was and it would never be enough.
Eppie was an avid San Francisco 49er’s fan. His true passion was his love for his family and friends. On his days off he loved to watch old movies and he would listen and sing to different genres and all decades of music. He has touched so many lives and all for the better. Eppie Jr. will be forever remembered, loved and most of all missed.
