Erich Meyer

Erich Meyer, 89, of Santa Fe, died November 16 due to complications from pneumonia. A long-time resident of Chicago, Mr. Meyer moved to Santa Fe in 2003 to be close to his family. Having immigrated from Germany in 1957, Mr. Meyer became a U.S. citizen in 1966. An accomplished engineer, he participated in pioneering developments in the U.S. food industry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lydia and is survived by daughter Elke, son Thure, and one granddaughter.
