Ernestino Suazo

Ernestino Suazo, 85 of El Rito, NM passed away on November 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Matilde Suazo, wife, Mabel Suazo, sons, Andrew and Richard Suazo. He is survived by his sons and daughters, Cecilia Ortiz (Orlando), El Rito, David Suazo (Tila) El Rito, Julian Suazo, Tina Garley (Pete), Albuquerque, Mathew (Cindy) El Rito, Betsy Suazo, Ojo Caliente, Mae Martinez (Jake) El Rito, Martin (Angela) Corrales, and many grandchildren and companion Rosemary Garcia. Mr. Suazo was in the Korean War, He received Combat infantry badge, two bronze stars and a purple heart. A rosary was recited on Friday, November 29, 2013, at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito, NM. Funeral Mass took place on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church. Interment to followed at the Martinez Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Suazo, Jacob Martinez, Felipe Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Cameron Croff and Jeremy Broyles.
