Ernest Varos

Ernest Nelson Varos, age 88 of Taos went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, on March 2, 2011. He was born June 12, 1922 in El Prado, N.M. Ernest was a devoted husband of 70 years and a loving father of four daughters. Ernest and his wife Eufie founded Good News Christian Fellowship in 1977. He was a man of high integrity and honest work ethics. He taught his daughters by example. His favorite past time was reading his Bible and he loved sharing the Word of God with everyone he encountered. Ernest is survived by his four daughters: Naomi (Luis) Martinez, Florence Ankersmit, Pastors Deborah (Rudy) Martinez, Hazel (Paul) Hall, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eufie, his two toddler sons, Ernest and Enoch, his parents, Isaac and Teodorita Varos, four siblings: Albert, Aaron, Camilo, and Loretta Rael. Memorial service was held on March 07, 2011 at Good News Christian Fellowship Church, 933 Ranchitos Road.
