Estevan Vargas

Estevan Martin Vargas, aka Wonder, beloved son, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend to many passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2020.

Estevan is preceded in death by his father Gilbert Vargas and his son Luis Vargas, and his grandparents Enrique and Sofia Vargas, as well as Juan Benito and Solidea Mares.

He survived by his mother Julia Vargas, daughter Lynda Vargas-Osmond, granddaughter Solidea Susana Vargas, daughter-in-law Paula Vargas, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and countless friends that were like family to him.

Estevan or Stevie, as he was known, was born on April 13, 1957, and attended Taos Municipal Schools. He graduated from Taos High in 1975. Stevie lived on his terms and we are very sad to see him go. He was especially proud of his children and his little Solidea who was the light of his life.

Rest in peace Wonder. Until we meet again.
