Esther L. Sanchez

Esther L. Sanchez, age 74, a resident of Chama, NM passed away on April 7, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents Frederico and Cecilia Lara, brother Joe Lara, sister Bella Garcia and granddaughter Aleandra Sanchez (passed away 1 day prior). She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years Trinidad R. Sanchez of Chama, sons Trinidad Bobby Sanchez Jr. (Clarissa) of Bushland, TX, Edmund Sanchez of Cebolla, Frederick Sanchez and partner Francis Bustos of Villanueva, David Sanchez (Jeanne) of Amarillo, TX, Thomas Sanchez (Isabel) of Albuquerque, Paul Sanchez of Scottsdale, AZ, siblings Benjamin Lara (Edna) of Roswell, Beatrice Kimbrell (Gilbert), Helen Sanchez both of Albuquerque, Danny Lara of Ruidoso, Billy Joe Lara (Dolly) of Sacramento, CA, grandchildren Tony, Ella, Emily, Lauren, Elena, Jonathan, Joshua, Nicholas Cole, Gabriel, Jacob, Noah, and Christopher and great grandchild Phoebe Sanchez. Esther was a cancer survivor and co-chairperson of Relay for Life in the Chama area. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and St. Patrick Catholic Church Catholic Society. A rosary and funeral mass were held on April 12, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chama. Interment followed at the Chama Community Cemetery.
