Esther Quintana

ESTHER D. QUINTANA, Age 70 of Bernalillo, NM passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 of heart complications.  She was born on September 24, 1952 in Lower Colonias, NM.  She was raised by her loving grandparents, Ramon and Candelaria Roybal, and her mother, Grace Gallegos.

She was a member of both St. Anthony’s Parish in Pecos, NM and Church of the Incarnation in Rio Rancho, NM.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother, and several siblings.  She is survived by her loving husband, Sixto Quintana of Bernalillo, NM, her son Dennis Quintana, son Brian Quintana, and Daughter In Law Ernestine Quintana. She is survived by her granddaughters Latishia Ortiz, Antoinette and Efrain Guerrero, and Yvette and Trey Trevino.  She had six great grandchildren, Xavier, Aliana, Angelina, Alina, Remi, and Ezekiel; her sisters Rosa Gallegos, Lucille and Agapito Maes, and Diane and George Pereda.  She is also survived by her Brothers in Law Jake Quintana, Clifford Quintana, and Sister in Law Diane Quintana.  Esther also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, siblings, cousins and friends.

Services: 

By Esther’s request, she was cremated

A rosary will be held on Friday, June 16th at 6:00 pm at Santo Nino Catholic Church in Lower Colonias.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 17th at 10:00 am at Santo Nino Catholic Church in Lower Colonias, burial to follow at Santo Nino Cemetery in Lower Colonias, NM.
