Eufemia P. Martinez, 95, died peacefully on Tuesday September 2nd in Utah. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Victor M. Martinez, son Victor Martinez Jr., daughters Arcelia Jaramillo, Lougarda Trujillo and her parents. She is survived by her children; Angelica Garcia and husband Gilbert of California, Mary Romero and husband Bobby of Utah, Del Martinez and wife Gloria of Utah, Viola Maes and husband Max of Espanola, Sister Phyllis Herrera and husband Lamberto of El Llano, Sister Brigida and husband Epifanio, Brother Manuel Padilla and wife Rosa of California, Sister Terry Rookard of Washington. Public visitation will be held on Sunday September 7th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the chapel of Block Salazar Mortuary, recitation of the rosary will began at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00am at the Holy Family Church in Chimayo, with internment to follow in the church cemetery.
