Eugene J. Chavez Jr.

Eugene J. Chavez Jr. born July 12, 1936 in Santa Fe, NM. Entered into heaven October 19th, 2017 was 81. Passed peacefully at home under hospice care, Married to Frances R. Cordova for 53 years. Preceeded in death by his father Eugenio J. Chavez Sr. and mother Pauline Montoya. Siblings: Jenny Gonzales, John L. Chavez, and Adrian Chavez. Eugene was survived by his only son Leonard J. Chavez, Linda Shell sister and Lorraine Lovelady sister. Chris and Gloria Cordova brother and sister-in-law. Also Rosina Chavez sister-in-law and nieces Yvonne Moore, Darlene George, Denise Carro, Lolly McHardy, Virginia Torrez, and Kathy O’Conner. Served in the New Mexico National Guard. Worked for B.F. Goodrich for years and Phil Home Center. Self Employed at Casa De Chavez apartment complex. Services will be held at the Kiva Chapel on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 11:00am.
