Eugene Martin Alire

Eugene Martin Alire, age 34. Born February 8, 1982 in Espanola, NM. Eugene passed away on Monday, July 11th in El Rito. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pedro and Celia Herrera; Jose G. and Juanita Alire; Uncle Haracio Alire and Ophelia Gurule and Larry Varoz; Godfather of Confirmation Eddie Gallegos. He is survived by his parents, Porfirio and Mae Alire; brother, Adam Alire and his wife Rebecca; sister, Nicole Alire and her companion Robert Espinoza, Jr.; Godparents, Guzman and Porfiria Jaramillo. He is also survived by Uncle and Aunts: Patrick Herrera, Karen and husband Polo, Ruben and wife Emilia, Pete and wife Ramona, Nicholas and companion Paula, Pacomio and wife Joyce, Pauline Varoz, Priscilla and husband Jerry, Joanne, Lucy and husband Roy, David, Robert and companion Anna, Jimmy and wife Vicky, Judy and husband Paul and Arturo and wife Veronica. Also survived by many cousins other relatives and many, many friends. A Rosary will be prayed on Friday 7PM, July 15, 2016 at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in El Rito, NM. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 9AM at San Juan Nepomuceno. Eugene’s cremated remains will then be buried at La Morada in El Rito following the Mass.
