Eugene Patrick Melady Iii

Eugene P. Melady III. 78, resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on August 8, 2018. He was born on October 1, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska to Geraldine Folda and Eugene P. Melady Jr. He is preceded in death by his wife: M. Rita Campos Melady. He is survived by his daughter: Marita L. Campos-Melady and his many wonderful friends. Gene was a professor at the College of Santa Fe, and in the following years worked for First National Bank and retired from the State of New Mexico. Gene volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul Society, Food for Santa Fe, State Employees Credit Union and Guadalupe Church as an Usher and in the perpetual adoration chapel. Pallbearers: Jerry Rael, Charles Marquez, Joe Gonzales, Tom Van Kampen. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm on Thursday 8/16 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Funeral mass Friday 8/17 at 9am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
