Evangeline "Vangie" Wells

EVANGELINE “VANGIE” WELLS 06-27-1943 – 07-16-2017 Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister went to be with our Lord and her beloved husband of 48 years on July 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by husband, George A. Wells; parents Agapito and Cirilia; siblings: Benita, Priscilla, Junior, and Tony. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always gave her all putting everyone before herself. Vangie was a devout Catholic whose faith was practiced in her daily routine. Mom was best known for her natillas, biscochitos, rum cake and her beautiful flower arrangements. She was adored by many a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving daughters, Katheryn Wells-Trujillo (William), Dorothy Wells, Elizabeth Wells-Beede (Terry); grandchildren: Amanda (Nano), Thomas, Nicole, Vance, and JT; sisters: Rose Medrano (Tony), Isabel Navarro (Chino), Dora Montoya, and Judy Larranaga; sisters-in-law: Barbara DeYoung (David), Christine Masker; brother-in-law: James Wells; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017, 10 a.m. Rosary, 10:30 a.m., Mass 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Thomas Wells, Vance Trujillo, Nano Anaya, JT Beede, Robert Ulibarri, and Anthony Larranaga. Honorary pallbearer is Jack Wheeler.
