Eva Rivera

Eva M. Rivera, of Santa Fe, NM, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 of Gilo Blastoma. Eva was born in Alamosa, CO to David W. and Mannie Aragon on November 7, 1929. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Loyola Whitcomb formerly employed by the Santa Fe New Mexican. Eve is survived by her husband of 43 years, Eugene Conrad Rivera of Santa Fe, her sisters Epi Lemon of Riverside, CA, and Yolanda Roe and husband David of Indiana, brother David Aragon of Wisconsin, and many nephews and nieces. Eva was formerly employed by the Taos Public Schools as a Reading Specialist and Instructor. More recently she was employed by Motorola in Scottsdale, AZ. She had been retired for the past 20 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 9:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
