Fabian Mendez

Our loving Fabian Mendez; age 34, a resident of Chimayo, NM went to be with The Lord on October 25th, 2015. He was born on December 31st, 1980 to Annette Martinez. Fabian was a very loving and outgoing person to anyone he met. Everywhere he would go, he would meet people and carry a conversation with them as if he knew them for years. He was well known to many for always having a smile on his face and for his ridiculous laugh. He was taken too soon and will be sincerely missed. Fabian was preceded in death by his grandfather Belarmino G. Martinez, Grandmother Carmen Martinez, uncle, Randy Martinez, aunt, Rosie Ann Gallegos, and cousin Lori Ann Gallegos. He was survived by his son Keanu Gurule, Mother Annette Martinez, Ricky Martinez who raised him as his son, sister Latisha Martinez, step-sister April Martinez, half-sister Maria Elena Mendez, half-brothers, Augustin Mendez Jr., Jonathan Mendez, Uncles Michael and wife Nellie Martinez, James Martinez, Noel and wife Perla Martinez, aunts Geraldine Martinez, Martha and husband Antonio Trujillo, God parents Billivaldo and Lorreta Mendez. A service was held on Friday, October 30th 2015, at Victory Faith Church. Interment followed after to The Light House Cemetery in Chimayo.
