Fabiola M. Duran, The Chile Lady, 83, of Ranchos de Taos passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 12, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan E. Duran, sons, Ramon Duran and Blas E. Duran, brother, Blas Romero and sister, Ida Romero. She is survived by her children, Johnny and Isabel Duran, Meliton Duran and Dolores Herrera, her daughter Beatrice Duran and Francesca Chavez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dominic Duran, Isaic Duran and Chris Duran Sr., and Lupita Macias, Andrew Duran, Casandra Martinez, Andrea Chavez and Juan Marcos Duran, great-grandchildren, Johnathan Duran, Jazz Duran, Alexi Duran, Chris Duran Jr., Angelica Cantu, Sierra Archuleta, Alyanna Archuleta, great great granddaughter, Mia Cantu, sisters, Carmen Velarde and Fannie Bustos, brothers, Julian Romero (Reggie) and Alberto Romero, sister-in-law, Magdalena Romero and many nephews and nieces.
Rosary was recited on May 15, 2014. Funeral mass was held on May 16, 2014. Both were held at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment following at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery.
